Walter Williams, 33°, (1864-1935) member of Twilight Lodge 114, Columbia, Missouri, was President of the University of Missouri, 1931-35, and founder in 1908 of the famous Journalism School at that institution. He served as dean of the school of journalism as well as its professor of history. He was the first president of the American Association of Schools and Departments of Journalism. Brother Williams also authored many books on Missouri history and the history of journalism. Although he was esteemed as an educator with remarkable academic achievements, Brother Williams never received any academic degree!
Generally these are short scenarios about Masons and Masonry that can be read in just a few minutes. Occasionally I also publish some of my longer Masonic articles and even some personal accounts as well.
