Generally these are short scenarios about Masons and Masonry that can be read in just a few minutes. Occasionally I also publish some of my longer Masonic articles and even some personal accounts as well.

Cowans, Eavesdroppers and Plagiarists
I started this blog in 2006 and over the years used it to post thoughts on Freemasonry as well as being a repository for some of the vignettes in my second book, Freemasons: Tales From the Craft. Through that experience I made some extraordinary friendships and acquaintances. I also ran into one bad apple, I'm sad to say a Freemason, who began plagiarizing the material. I wrote him twice about the issue and he ignored me while continuing to publish my material as his own. At that point I made this a private blog and it has been private ever since.
It turned out I was not the only one being plagiarized. Others took a different approach and confronted the offender. Without getting wordy, if you are interested in the full story, here it is from Todd Creason, another Brother who was also hit by the same plagiarist: http://bit.ly/1sglDrp
In the meantime I've been writing articles elsewhere, mainly for The Working Tools Magazine and the Midnight Freemasons blog. I plan to continue doing that as well as editing and publishing articles in the Missouri Freemason magazine.
Now, however, I've had a few "bright ideas" about my next big project; and I've decided renewing this blog might be a good way to start publishing that material until I compile enough of it to complete the project. Within the next few weeks I plan to start doing that and I hope in some small way what I publish here may be of value to our incredible fraternity.
I also hope to keep the cowans, eavesdroppers and plagiarists at bay.
